The Stainless Steel 10 PSI Propane Regulator Kit is designed to be used with high pressure propane burners. The unique feature about this regulator is its stainless steel braided hose. It is almost impossible to ruin this high pressure hose. Pound it, burn it and try to cut it with a knife and it will not budge. The Stainless Steel 10 PSI Propane Regulator Kit includes a 48 inch high pressure hose, which is the standard length of a propane hose and has been found to be the safest length. The regulator on this hose kit has 10 PSI (pounds per square inch). The BTUs for this regulator kit is 185,000 BTUs and is still considered high pressure. (Compared to 55,000 10 PSI regulators). This kit also includes a brass control valve also known as a needle valve. Some designs of the needle valve may vary. This Stainless Steel 10 PSI Propane Regulator Kit does not include an orifice. Instead, the end of the hose is a 3/8 inches flare swivel fitting. You can convert this propane regulator kit by adding an orifice. This particular propane regulator kit is made for Bayou Classic's single burner cookers (preferably the SP10 and SP1), double burner propane burners and triple propane burners. NOT for use on gas grills. Be careful when purchasing this product. If you add too much PSI to your burner, the flame will blow itself out. This is a STRONG propane regulator kit.
